Diligence, Discipline, Victory

DILIGENCE- careful and persistent work or effort.

DISCIPLINE- train someone to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience.

VICTORY- an act of defeating an enemy or opponent in a battle, game or other competition.

Hey Family, I'm back. It's been a couple weeks, but the Lord had me sit on this same topic that I wanted to share with you a few weeks ago. I truly believe I'm not in this place or position in my life alone. There are no coincidences. With that being said, lets get right to it.

The Lord spoke a few things to me at the beginning of this year. One of those things being, "Bianca, remember who you are." In that moment, I was reminded of the movie 'The Lion King' and the scene where Simba's father, Mufasa, gave this same message to his son from the clouds. These words spoken over Simba enabled him to rush back to his homeland and take back the throne from his wicked uncle, Scar. He heeded the voice of his father and responded quickly in obedience. Does this sound familiar? Before I continue, I'd also like to share, that it's not until after he arrives to his homeland and confronts his uncle about the throne being yielded back to him(Simba), that Scar responds with condemnation and intimidation... as he is trying to once again get Simba to admit to, and carry what we know to be the false weight of the murder of his father... Scar thinking Simba is now scared, backing down and that he has weakened him like once before, admits the TRUTH amidst just the two of them saying, "I(Scar) killed Mufasa." Although I could continue on with the play by play of the scenes that follow, I will refrain. My heart is to help you see what Father God is showing us here. You see, the evil one, satan, he is very sneaky. He sends many different devices, none of which should be a surprise. However, these different devices such as, things, people, situations or, even ourselves are what he uses to kill, steal and destroy(John 10:10). His whole purpose being to keep us from walking in God's plan for our life. All he wants to do is bombard and overwhelm us with his mess, so that we are so jumbled up we can't see or hear with clarity what God is saying, instructing or commanding us to do. The storms satan creates are distractions. We have a choice whether to yield to the distractions, or yield to Abba.

Listen, God can tell me to remember who I am, but if for too long my eyes have been lost in the storm that the enemy sent to distract me.... I'll miss Jesus amidst the storm who is resting as the place of peace that I am longing for! The word "remember" means to have in or be able to bring to one's mind an awareness of (someone or something that one has seen, known, or experienced in the past). The word remember is a verb. Verbs are words that describe actions, states of being, or occurrences. Therefore, not only was God giving me an instruction but commanding that I ACT on what He was saying. I hope you all are with me... Listen, Who I am, is because HE IS! WHO YOU ARE, IS BECAUSE HE IS! HALLELUJAH!!!

Therefore in order to remember who I am, I have to come from the state of loss, to the state of being, because in being, therefore I am found!! Your identity is in CHRIST. In the finding of who I am, I had to remember, by actively seeking, who HE IS! JESUS...

I'm here to tell you, that amidst this current storm in your life, and even the ones that will come, there is a clarion call that has been sent out! & RIGHT NOW, that very same message from the Lord I got months ago, is ringing loud today saying:

[insert name here] REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!!!

SEEK HIM. SEEK HIM! WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART, AND YOU WILL FIND HIM!

Too often we forget that this place, planet Earth, is not our home. We are just pilgrims passing through, as some of the elder folk might say. We are in this world, but NOT of it. Jesus overcame the World, so that we might be saved! He died, and three days later rose again! He has REDEEMED YOU! He has given you an opportunity to receive His gift of salvation and now you can walk in redemption, but you have to choose HIM everyday. Life can bog us down, but only if we let it. This is where those three words from the beginning come in; IF you are DILIGENT in DISCIPLINE YOU SHALL SEE THE VICTORY!! There's a time and season where we have been sent into the wilderness, led of the spirit of God, just like Jesus was at one point, and we have to recognize what GOD is teaching us at that time. YEILD to HIM. PRESS into the secret place, go deeper with the Lord. Let Him be ADONAI, which means "Lord and Master," over your life. HE has the very best for you, and He wants to share it all with you... get still and quiet, be intentional about it... and no matter the height of the storm, you WILL hear His voice. Stay in the Word of GOD. When He speaks, respond QUICKLY! If you are diligent in this and you continue to live a life of discipline, you WILL see the VICTORY in every area of your life!
