If you want to be free, free indeed
You must sit down and dine with the King
You must share and release everything
Everything everything you MUST release it all to be free
Release it all, yes, all those things
All those things you've wanted to hide
Hiding them and all along you've been living in disguise
But they are there deep down inside,
It's time to bring them up into the light
Oh how you haven't wanted to dig
But dig you will, don't you want to be free?
Free indeed that is what you will be
So dig dig dig and release it all to the King
He wants to hear every piece, it brings Him joy when you release.
Oh yes, dear, yes, its going to hurt
You have a big shovel to carry and a lot of terrain to work
Your muscles will strain and you'll even tire your brain
All the thoughts of where to dig, how deep, and which way..
Oh wait that way... is what you'll finally say
You see as you find one thing, you'll be led to the next
You won't forget, you'll press and press
As you release you will become free, free indeed
That is why the King is so happy
He sees you pressing, even through the pain
The digging, which is hurting, and then to add the search of words to say
But on His throne He sits, patiently waiting
To hear every piece of all that you're saying.
And when you're done, and have laid it all over at His feet
He gently rises and walking towards you, He begins to speak
My dearly beloved, oh how weak,
But in these moments my strength is giving you peace
Thank you for sharing your life with me
I know it wasn't easy, i know it was hard
But you did it, pouring out your whole heart
For that I'm grateful and grant you a new start
Let me clean and wash you from all that was before apart
I'm making you new, new in me,
I am the Christ, the one true King
I am your groom, and my bride you shall be.
